Yes. Your domain — the part visitors type in — doesn't change. We point it at our servers instead of WordPress's. From the visitor's side, everything looks the same except it loads faster.
Then you don't pay. The preview is built before any money changes hands. If something looks wrong, we fix it. If we can't fix it to your satisfaction, you walk away owing nothing.
Yes. You get a clean editor that works the same way most of WordPress's "Block Editor" does — pages, posts, images, links. The technical underpinnings are different, but the edit-buttons aren't.
We'll tell you on the first call — before you pay. For most missing plugins, we keep a small WordPress shim running just for that feature. For others, we offer a workaround. If neither works for your case, we'll say so honestly.
No. We're independent. We're not selling you a WordPress upgrade — we're moving you off the WordPress platform entirely, onto Cloudflare's hosting network. The plugins we replace are independent products from independent companies.
Embark is a small US-based team. The hosting runs on Cloudflare's global network, which has data centers in 300+ cities, so your site is fast everywhere — not just where we are.
Email is separate from your website — we don't host it. If you currently use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for your "@yourorganization.org" email, that keeps working unchanged. If your email is hosted by your old web host, we'll help you move it to Google or Microsoft as part of the transition.
Yes — we also move Drupal and Joomla sites. Same process, same price. Just enter your URL and we'll figure out what you're running. The plugin-replacement directory above is WordPress-focused because that's where most of the requests come from, but Drupal modules and Joomla extensions get the same treatment in the move.
No. Every site we move comes with a built-in helper inside your admin — a calm, plain-spoken assistant that's always there. It can fix a typo, suggest an SEO improvement, schedule a backup, run an accessibility check, or hand you off to a person if it can't help. It runs on cheap, fast models, so it's available even on the lowest tier. Nothing it changes is final until you click "apply", and every change keeps a "why" log.
No — the default we recommend is the opposite. Most customers pay our one-time conversion fee and we deploy the site onto their own free or $5/month Cloudflare account. They pay Cloudflare directly and never get a bill from us again. We also offer a hosted option with transparent pricing if you'd rather not deal with infrastructure, but the cheaper path is yours to take.
